I have been sharing on my stories about Joules Medspa for over a year now. I thought now was a great time to write a blog post about all of the services I get from there and hopefully answer most of your questions about those services. I will also be sharing some of their prices and deals they have going on if you mention my name! Be sure to let me know in the comments if you have used any of these services or have any questions I can answer!
Laser Hair Removal
When I first started going I went for laser hair removal. I get the hair removal on my legs, bikini line and underarms. Each time I go my hair gets thinner and thinner and I have to shave less and less between sessions. The amount of sessions needed for full removal varies from person to person. Anywhere between 6-10 times is common. Each of the sessions are 4-6 weeks apart. Factors that determine the number of sessions are your hair follicles, skin color, the color of your hair, hormones, and even if you have used self tanner recently. It is best to go to a consultation to determine if you are a good candidate for laser hair removal and how many sessions you may require. The armpits are the most sensitive for me, and if you are worried about pain numbing cream can be added on for an extra charge. I would compare the pain to a rubber band snapping on your skin. It is not excruciating but it is also not comfortable.
Skinpen is a micro needling tool that helps to improve your skin by stimulating natural production of collagen. I have been getting tons of compliments on my skin recently while I am not wearing makeup and I can give all the credit to this procedure! It is recommended in a series of 3 for optimal results done every 4-6 weeks. It feels like a little massage because I use numbing on my face. This procedure helps shrink pores, even texture, diminish acne scarring and smooths skin. It also helps with dark spot unevenness. It changes your skin from a washcloth texture to a glasslike texture. This helps your makeup go on smoother. It also helps with fine lines and acne scar tissue while tightening the skin and shrinking pores. Something great about Joules is that your neck is included for free. Joules is giving anyone who mentions me $75 off their first Skinpen treatment with the neck included. This is a $300 value for only $225. If you want multiple Skinpen treatments you can buy a package of 3 for $599 (value $750).
Baby Botox is something I also started getting recently. I think the biggest misconception with Botox is that your face will be completely frozen. Which is not the case at all. Small doses of Botox help to prevent your wrinkles from getting deeper and sticking around. Baby Botox is a newer skincare trend for people in my age group. It is all about preventing those wrinkles not correcting them and it is Botox but used in smaller doses. In the long run this kind of prevention will save you money if you are hoping to stay wrinkle free. I get my doses to help relax the fine lines and the start of wrinkles on my forehead, between my eyebrows, and around my eyes. At Joules if you mention me you can get your first round of baby Botox for only $180!
Another place where botox can be inserted is right above your lip. This is called a Lip Flip and helps to relax your lip muscles and “flip” the lip upward giving it a fuller appearance. This can also help to make a smile less “gummy” while smiling. Generally the effects of this last between 8-12 weeks.
Thread lifting is another procedure Joules offers. Threads are a way to receive a subtle lift to cheek bones, brows, or jawline. Jenna got this procedure done to help lift one of her brows to make them more even. A brow lift can also help shape your brow and create more of a cat eye shape. It was an easy treatment with little downtime. Think of models like Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner and how almond shaped their eyes are. Threads can help you to achieve these looks. They can also help to add more lid space to your eyes. Threads also help to produce natural collagen which creates a more texture free skin. The threads dissolve under the skin so they never need to be taken out. The same threads can be used in cheekbones and jawlines to create a more defined jaw and soften marionette and smile lines.
I hope this was able to answer some of your questions you may have on the procedures I have gotten at Joules. Let me know in the comments if you get any of this done or what you want to try next!
