With all this travel… finally getting around to recapping all of my trips. First up is Amsterdam! What I wore, where we ate and what we did. ICYMI 8 Steps to Travel Internationally Like a Pro.
What I Wore

Tulip market – great spot for photo ops! There is one shop that said no pictures but most of them were fine with it. See what we did for more instaworthy spots!

I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures at this dinner (I was told it was fancy) but it was delish! My favorite was the courgette blossom with goat cheese and honey. Basically a zucchini flower with cheese and honey… I want one RN! The Dutchess was also inside our hotel. See more of what we ate below.

Where We Stayed
We stayed at the W Amsterdam which was near city center and everything was walkable!

I have a room tour saved to my instagram highlights if you want to see the inside. We loved staying here because it was unique and had great restaurants attached.
What We Ate

There were so many cute cafes (not coffee shops – that is where you can smoke weed) and everything was delish. We were a bit jet lagged so I don’t even remember what this place was called.

Had the best Mac and Cheese and was across the street from where we were staying – part of the W. They also had a super bougie cocktail bar for drinks before or after dinner!

Another cute cafe for breakfast – Escape Caffe. They have a lounge inside for nighttime but we just got brunch outside. I love how the seats are all facing outwards perfect for people watching. There are a ton of other cute cafes in this area. We walked over from our hotel.
What We Did

Even though I don’t drink (Why I Stopped Drinking) I still had a blast! You could get through in an hour or spend 4 hours here. There are activities and fun things like this photo booth. It is a bit of a party at the end with a bar and 2 drink tickets provided with the $15-$20 admission.

We went to the Red Light Secrets to learn more about the Red Light District during the day. We came back at night to walk around (no pictures). Make sure to wear something comfortable and not revealing – I had my dress I wore for dinner on and wanted to go back to change. If you are adventurous go to a sex show because yolo. It was an experience to say the least!

So sad we weren’t able to make it here because tickets were sold out! 80% of tickets go on sale 1 month before the date and the rest sell the day of. We tried both days to get tickets with no luck. We did still stop by the house because it was so close to our hotel.

Fun Fact: there are more bikes than people in Amsterdam
