Finished Condo Reveal

The time has finally come & our condo is officially finished! It’s been a process from start to finish but i’m so happy with how it all turned out and I can’t say enough good things about the teams that I worked with! If you’re looking to do a home renovation project in Minneapolis, be sure to check them out!

my design team: @foxhomesmn | my contractor: @itsthecarlsons

my organization team: @simplehome.organizing | my closet builder: @builttolastcc

I uploaded a full condo reveal on my youtube channel if you want to check it out, as well parts one and two that show the whole process. But, i wanted to go into more detail here to fully explain everything. So, here we go!

the entryway

How fun is this snake wallpaper?! the perfect mix of modern, yet feminine without being too over the top! We wanted everything to feel luxurious from the start and this fun accent definitely delivers! The wallpaper is called Serpentine in the color blush by hygge & west. Obviously, you know I needed to style this anthro mirror right away.

We also decided to put coco’s potty spot right by the front door, but we wanted to hide it as best as we could. So, we decided to put up a slatted wall to divide the room. I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. She gets some privacy & we’re able to give our condo a more upscale look while still being totally functional! We added some shelves too for storage + plenty of treats.

the hallways

We went with darker wainscotting here for contrast and to really bring the hallway to the next level and I am ob.sess.ed! It came out so nice. We decided on three rows of squares to give it a more luxurious feel. The color is BLACK FOX by Sherwin Williams.

the living room

the living room of my dreams!! this STUNNING wallpaper tied the entire room together and gave the room a more luxurious vibe. We took out the fan and added a super fun gold chandelier and put up some oversized curtains. we Instead of getting a normal area rug, we used these great FLOR rug tiles in the pattern – DO RE MI – they come in a ton of color and patterns and allow you to make the rug any size you want which is great!

the coffee bar

BEFORE

Because we don’t really drink that much, this dry bar wasn’t really functional for us so we decided to turn it into a coffee bar and I’m so happy we did! We’ll get so much more use out of it this way. We repainted the cabinet faces, added new knobs, installed a new countertop and backsplash and got these glass shelves custom made to fit the gold shelving unit. Such a satisfying transformation! The color on the cabinets is BLACK FOX by Sherwin Williams, the same as they wainscotting!

the kitchen

DURING

oh, hi alex 🙂

the star of the show!! I CANNOT get enough of this kitchen! We got rid of the upper cabinets, added new hardware to the bottom cabinets and added in this stunning backsplash. We used bigger sheets for the backsplash to help minimize the seams and got these shelves custom made to fill the space and match the cabinets. I loooove the gold detailing in here, especially the vent hood! We were going to spend close almost 8K on a new vent hood but we found this one on etsy and it is perfect!

We kept the anthro bar stools that we had before but ended up buying these gorgeous gold pendant lights above the island. Fun fact, we had to reposition the lights because they should be spaced so that they end about 6 inches from each side of the island. I think they really tie the room together and I’m so happy we decided to switch them out!

the half bathroom

We wanted a modern and luxurious feel for this bathroom. We went darker in here to match the tile and set up that we had before, and just added a few touches that made all the difference. We added a slab (Vicostone Quartz in the color “Graphite”) to the front of the sink to hide the wooden piece that was there before, got a black toilet!! and painted the cabinets with the same BLACK FOX by Sherwin Williams. We also added a new light fixture to give it a more high-end look. They painted the walls with roman clay in the color jacket by portola paints. I love the texture that this adds in here!

How many anthro mirrors have you counted so far? 😅

the master bedroom

So much cozier and luxurious in here! We added this beautiful Adanza wallpaper from Hygge & West in the color taupe & painted the other walls with WHITE HERON by Sherwin Williams to match. We also used the FLOR tiles in the pattern OU LA LA in the grey color. This stunning chandelier from CB2 was the perfect touch!

the master closet

I worked with built to last custom closets for my closet reno and I could not be happier with how it turned out. I needed a way to display and organize all my goodies while still being functional and they delivered! The glass display case for my designer finds and the shoe wall really elevate the look in here. We carried Adanza wallpaper from Hygge & West in the color taupe from the bedroom into here & painted the walls with the same WHITE HERON by Sherwin Williams to match. Get ready for a ton of content in here!

Simple Home helped me organize everything in here to make sure the space is super functional. Check out my full closet reveal here to see exactly what they did. See all my organization finds here.

the master bathroom

it’s so hard to choose my favorite part of the master bath because I LOVE how it all came together! We got this vanity custom made, with a fluted design in a white oak finish. It has plenty of space for all of my products and gives the room a much more luxurious look. We got these mirrors custom made to fit above the sinks. The true star of the show though, has to be the blue heron mural from hygge & west, I can’t get over it. It ties the whole room together.

We painted the walls PURE WHITE by Sherwin Williams. We decided to go with marble tiles on the floor & in the shower and a porcelain countertop & backsplash on the vanity because it’s more durable!

the guest bathroom

We didn’t change a whole lot in the guest bathroom, just made it a little bit more fun!

the front content area

We just wanted to make this area a little more simple and minimalist to create the perfect backdrop for creating content! It was too busy before so now it will just showcase a few statement pieces!

the guest bedroom

Love the way the guest bedroom turned out. Super simple & modern. We also put a desk in here for Alex to use when he works from home. We used FLOR carpet tiles in here too, in the CHECK IT OUT pattern, in the pearl color.

the gym

When I started this renovation, I was planning to use this room as our guest bedroom but we did a total 180 & decided to make this the gym. I couldn’t be happier with the decision. I put a blog post together with all the details from my home gym but just to recap, we did full floor-to-ceiling mirrors, did a full sneaker wall & got great equipment from Torque Fitness. We also decorated with super fun black & white prints from etsy.

Gym equipment linked here!! I purchased the Club Combo Package w/ Free Weights!
