STOP ONE: Florence

WHERE I STAYED
- we stayed at a beautiful villa dimora ghirlandaio in florence for the first few nights with alana eve. bit of a drive from the city, but perfect for a large group. the rolling hills/view were stunning.
- saved staying at the boutique hotel hugo which had 10 rooms and was very quant. location was great & walkable for everything on the trip. breakfast was included in their adorable cafe.
WHERE I ATE
- osteria delle tre panche: best cheesecake I’ve ever had and the garden rooftop is stunning! make sure to make a reservation and make sure it’s the rooftop one!
- gelateria santa trinita: had the caramel and cream! was delicious, but beware the servings are enormous!
- la giostra: most people love this place! Alex and I thought the ambience was amazing. the food was a 6/10.
WHAT I DID
- gucci gucci gucci: first Gucci store near city center & be sure to check out the Gucci museum near the palazzo vecchio
- walkabout pizza & gelato tour: we had so much fun & the view is amazing and you get to make your own pizza and gelato. Be sure to book in advance!
- duomo cathedral: stop by to viewthe architecture.
- ponte vecchio bridge: adorable bridge that looks like houses on the outside! Have a ton of fun shops, but I loved how the vibes are totally different on each side!
THE VIBE
- comfy but cute get some comfortable walking shoes that go cute with dresses and long maxi skirts!
- handsfree backpacks or crossbody bags are a must

STOP TWO: Rome

WHERE I STAYED
- we stayed at the vanity hotel navona in rome. it was the perfect location walking distance to the pantheon, trevi fountain & vatican. Also had the cutest Lizzie McGuire like elevator!
WHERE I ATE
- alfredo alla scrofa roma: birthplace of fettuccine alfredo but the buffalo mozzarella was AMAZING. super cute inside & love that they stir the fa by your table
- ponte e parione: stumbled upon this place. they made the past right infront of you! we got pizza but next time we’ll do the pasta!
WHAT I DID
- trevi fountain: just like Lizzie but be sure to go before 8:30 AM. you can also see how busy it is online with the live stream.
- colosseum: book a self guided tour a few days in advance & get the audio headphones on site! lots of great information to learn.
- vatican: book a few days in advance so you can get the self guided option. make sure to cover your shoulders & knees!! don’t be like alex & i!
- pantheon: stop by if you are close! easy to check off your list!
THE VIBE
- get some comfortable walking shoes that go cute with dresses and long maxi skirts!
- handsfree backpacks or crossbody bags are a must

STOP THREE: Amalfi Coast

WHERE I STAYED
- we stayed at Borgos Sanandrea in the premium suite room and it did not disappoint. The room was immaculate, staff was so helpful, nice & made the experince one alex & I will remember. the food here was the best of our entire italy trip!
- private transfer: our hotel helped us book a car to and from naples (the closest airport) to the hotel. the roads are very winding so i wouldn’t recommend renting your own car.
WHERE I ATE
- alici: more affordable of the two restaurants at BSA. You can make a reservation if you aren’t staying at the hotel.
- la liberia: another restaurant at BSA with a fine dining experience. You can also make a reservation here too!
- la sponda: eat at one of the most stunning hotels in Positano.
- ristorante max: another great option in Positano!
WHAT I DID
- lay by the beach: make sure to book a spot at the beach if your hotel doesn’t have a private spot. the public beach spots get sooo busy!
- misal boat charter: book a day to see the amalfi coast and capri. we stopped in capri for lunch and avoided the 100 euro docking fee.
- shopping: there are little shops in amalfi, positano and capri. they have a lot of the same things but it is fun to check them out. I got a lemon bikini in amalfi and our crewnecks in capri.
THE VIBE
- get your most extra looks because this is the spot to show them off
- bikinis and easy sandals!
