Best of Nashville Travel Guide

Can’t believe it took me 30 years to make it to Nashville. Thanks so much for your recommendations. I know lots of you are heading there soon. So of course I wanted to make a travel guide for you. Read more to see what I wore, where I stayed, what to eat and what not to eat.

Where to stay in Nashville?

I stayed at the Thompson Nashville which was such a fun and gorgeous hotel. The rooms were really nice the service was great. They have a great restaurant located in the hotel. The located in the Gulch is perfect. There is lots within walking distance and LA Jackson, the bar is located on the rooftop which is a great bar for drinks and dancing.

I stayed in this airbnbthe urban farmhouse – when I went with my girlfriends! It was super spacious and affordable & perfect for a group trip! There was an adorable fire pit & patio outside, a little putt putt course, a ping pong table & even a tiny gym in the basement! Highly recommend!

What to eat, drink and do in Nashville?

Thursday night:

After getting settled in the hotel it was off to the Gulch to get the infamous photo by wings. Pro tip: there is no line for photos at night, but during the day the line sometimes goes down the block! After I got a NA drink from Emmy Squared.

of course, I had to stop by daniel x diamond to check out all of their blinged out jackets & boots – this jacket came home with me!

Friday:

When I put a question box on my stories asking for recommendations for Nashville the number one rec was Biscuit Love. I am not going to lie, I was underwhelmed. The line was so long and the food was mediocre at best. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing.

Of course I had to do some shopping at Uncommon James while I was there.

After shopping I made the crucial error of walking from the shopping area down to Broadway Street in my Chloe Wedges. I would not recommend doing this. I would suggest getting an Uber, but if you do want to walk make sure you have sneakers on. LOL

I loved bar hopping in this area. My favorites were Honky Tonk Central, Tooties, Dierks Bently’s Whiskey Row, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa!

Friday Night:

Sushi night at Virago. I was obsessed with their veggie dumplings!

Saturday:

If you are looking for some Nashville history and some exercise I would recommend checking out the Parthenon. It’s located in Centennial Park and has a full scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. It also serves as Nashville’s Art Museum.

I loved the lava cake I got from Blue Stripes Cacao Shop!

Saturday Night:

At Ella’s for dinner the hummus appetizer was my favorite before another night on the town.

The view from LA Jackson at night is amazing!

Sunday:

Of course I had to hit Tooties one last time before I caught my flight home.

loved nashville so much, I just keep coming back, so here are some other good places to try!

for brunch:

brugada kitchen & bar: this place turns into a nightclub at night, but they have some fun options for brunch

little fib: fun vibe with insta-worthy brunch – but deff a pricier option

sixty vines: cute rooftop with good brunch & the best cinnamon roll!

don’t forget to try jeni’s splendid ice cream for the best ice cream!

for dinner:

giest: this place is so pretty & the vibe is so fun! they have nashville’s only year-round champagne garden which I obvi didn’t partake in, but how fun!?

sadie’s: 10/10 mediterranean food with the cutest cocktails & patio! SO GOOD I will be back! they have brunch too!

stateside kitchen: been here multiple times, it’s great for dinner!

We made reservations everywhere, FYI!

Other notable restaurants that you should check out :   Savannah Candy Kitchen, Country Music Hall of Fame, Rolf and Daughters, Milk and Honey, The Diner, Husk, Frothy Monkey, Hattie B’s, Pinewood Social, FGL Bar, 5 Daughters Bakery, White Limousine, Bluebird Cafe, Liberty Common, Pushing Daisies
