Who’s ready for cold weather? Not me! But I am ready to drink nice hot matcha lattes all winter long! I can’t believe I am already getting holiday content prepared. Let’s gear up for the winter and get some cozy coats. Rounded up winter jackets and coats for you babes by category. I came up with the 5 MUST have types of coats: puffer, parka, sherpa, leather and dusters! I included some jackets for those of you who aren’t located in the arctic tundra during the winter too.
Puffer Coats – These are the best for amping up a casual outfit. They add a more dramatic and sophisticated look! Another thing I love about puffers is that they come in both short and long options.
Sherpa – Sherpas and Teddy coats have been in season for the past couple of years and they are the perfect mix of cozy and cute. They are my absolute favorite to throw on and feel like I am wearing a blanket!
Parka Coats – These are the coats that are required for the cold Minnesota winters. So if you are local to MN or another arctic area these are a great investment piece! My favorite are the ones with the fur hoods.
Leather Coats – This is a newer trend that I have been loving. Such an easy way to elevate a simple outfit. These remind me of a fancier leather jacket!
Duster/Dad Coats – These coats are perfect for more of a business casual look. These coats are the perfect top layer to look so sophisticated and put together! I love throwing on a scarf also for extra layers and warmth.
